Rustic land, with a 242.850 sqm total area, partially occupied by a campsite and some illegal constructions. Despite being originally intended for the construction of a tourism facility, it is currently classified as “”partial protection area type I”” in the Regulation of the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, thus inhibiting any type of urban development operation. The island consists of a vast arrow of sand deposited in a Southwest_Notheast direction, developing in parallel to the continental coastline. It is a roughly rectangular land, with the largest dimension values around 1.200 metres and the smallest around 250 metres. It should be highlighted that the perimeter has a variable distance between 170 and 300 metres from the ocean beach line.
